Emergency Buffer


The task of the emergency stop damper is to decelerate moving masses efficiently and in a controlled manner in order to prevent damage to man and machine.

The elements are permanently deformed during an impact, whereby very high kinetic energies can be destroyed. By failure of control and safety devices due to mechanical or electrical defects or software errors, moving masses in uncontrolled impact causes high cost by repair and maintenance work, but especially by business interruptions.

Security in the delivery of machines and systems play an important role. If the system has been used illegally or incorrectly, this can be proved by deformed emergency stop dampers
